Using the Quickbooks Online 'desktop' app on a Max (OS X Catalina 10.15.5). The application window is fuzzy and unreadable, like looking at static on an old television.

Using a web browser window is fine. Restarting the application or refreshing does not work. Have to reboot the computer to make it go away. Ideas?

Hello there, @finance58!

The system requirements are the reason why you're having issues when using the app on your Mac OS. Right now, the app currently supports OS X 10.9 (Mavericks), 10.10 (Yosemite), and 10.11 (El Capitan). You can read this article for more information: QuickBooks App for Windows and Mac: General Support.

You're on the right track in accessing your account via the web browser app so you can do business without errors. For ideas about what browsers you can use, here's an article you can check to learn more: System requirements for QuickBooks Online, Accountant, and QuickBooks Self-Employed.

Lastly, I've got you these articles to help manage your account and related tasks: Help Articles for QuickBooks Online.

If there's anything else that I can help you with, let me know in the comments. I'll be here to help.

You're joking right? So Intuit massively increased prices, limiting the number of classes that can be used to 40 (then the huge price increase), but you can't keep your application current?

Intuit should be ashamed. Catalina has been out for a while and as a developer, Intuit would have had early access to bring the application up to standards.

Can you all do me a favor and STOP introducing features and clean up this horribly designed application?

With multiple software patents under my belt, I know of what I write. Please fix this.

Hi there, finance58.

I'd like to add some information about your query.

As Apple increases Catalina's security requirements from time to time, our engineers are also doing their best to meet these requirements. For the latest update, we are looking to this compliance and fix this out. This way, you'll be able to use QuickBooks on a Mac (OS X Catalina 10.15.5).

We always value our customers' opinions and take them as consideration. Meanwhile, you may consider checking the links provided by my colleague above for more details about the system requirements.

If you have more something to tell us, please tap our shoulder anytime. We always want to hear from you. I hope you're okay. Keep safe.

When Will Catalina 10.15.5 be supported by QB App?

I had to move to Catalina for to access for security reasons for my Hospital, but now QB won't work for my NGO work...

I have to use the online web version which is a real nuisance.
