What is best software app that pairs with QBO for my service company that tracks tasks and jobs and projects?

The Projects feature of QBO is great for that.

However, if you are looking for and outside app, TSheets could be helpful but I don't think they sync anything over but time. QBO syncs to TSheets only the contact info and classifications into TSheets.

I will name a few apps that can be found on the Intuit apps site with a brief desription:

Business Importer - will import/export any entity QuickBooks Online has. You can upload your data in large bunches to quickly populate your books.

Flowless - that one has to do with events occuring in your QuickBooks. Invoice created or due, bank account overflown, items out of stock and need to be ordered, etc. - the app can take care of stuff like that in order for the less routine to have.

Stripe and PayPal sync - Business Payments - will sync your ongoing or previous PayPal and Stripe transactions with QuickBook thus eliminating a need in manual entry.
