Yes, you can install another one, CT58.
If you purchased a single-user license for an edition of QuickBooks Desktop, your license entitles you to install the software on a total of two computers, provided that you own both systems. Additionally, these two installations enable you to work at your office on one system and continue your work at home on another computer.
Before removing the previous one, please make sure to create a back up of your company file and keep a copy of your QuickBooks Desktop product and license information. When you're ready, follow these simple steps to uninstall QuickBooks Desktop:
- Open the Windows Start menu. Search for “Control Panel”, then open Control Panel.
- Select Programs and Features or Uninstall a Program.
- From the list of installed programs, choose QuickBooks Desktop.
- Select Uninstall/Change and then Remove.
- Click Next. If you don’t see this option, sign out and sign back into Windows as an admin (or a user with admin rights).
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.
Once done, you can now reinstall and activate QuickBooks Desktop to your old computer. Then, restore the back up of your company file.
I also encourage reading our QuickBooks User Guide to help you get up and running as fast as possible.
