Just a heads up, if their company file is stored on an external file like a USB, we'll need to move it to a local hard drive first. Afterwards, you can follow the below in order to restore the backup file:
- From the File menu, select Open or Restore Company.
- Select Restore a backup copy, and then Next.
- In the Is the backup copy stored locally or online? window, select Local backup.
- Click Next.
- Locate their company file, and then Open.
- Click Save.
