I've got you covered in editing or deleting your sales tax payment via QuickBooks Online.

 

Deleting a sales tax payment is pretty easy. You can follow the step-by-step process below with sample screenshots.

 

For the old sales tax center:

 

  1. From the left menu, select Taxes.
  2. Under Recent Sales Tax Payments, highlight the payment in question.
  3. Select Delete Payment.
  4. Select Yes on the confirmation screen.

For the new sales tax center:

 

  1. Click Taxes in the left panel.
  2. Look for the specific sales tax and click View return.
  3. Click the Payment Date.
  4. Hit Delete.
