I am no longer able to search by last four of the vin. Before i would click sales, customers and type in the last 4 of the vin and POOF customer pops up. NO longer happens. Vin was a sub customer of the persons name.
Your username just made my day, funnyfatguy!

When you say VIN, are you referring to the Vehicle Identification Number? If so, the details you can use to search for a client in the Customer page are Name, Address, Phone, Email, and Attachments.
As long as you've entered the VIN in any of them, you should still be able to search it. I've checked if we have ongoing issues about this, and so far, there aren't any reports. You'd need to log in to your QuickBooks Online account using a private browser. It doesn't store cache and cookies which makes it the best place to start. The steps vary per browser used:
If you didn't encounter the same issue in the private browsing session, you'll need to go back to your regular browser and clear its cache to remove stored data. Here's an article for the detailed steps:
How do I clear temporary internet files and cache?
