Suddenly, the "preview and print" button does nothing when I click on it. I have tried the "print repair tool" and it didn't help. Any ideas?

Let's try accessing your QuickBooks account using a private browser to see if it's a browser-related issue. On your keyboard, press CTRL+SHIFT+N.

Then, try clicking the Print or Preview button again.

 

If it's working fine, you can go back to your main browser and clear your browser's cache.

 

If the button is still not working, please give us a call to get this reported. Just go to (?) Help, then Contact us to get our number.

Must be a system problem on qbo because mine suddenly stop working about 40 minutes ago as well.

Are you referring to check transactions? If so, this has already been reported and our engineers are working to fix this as soon as possible. It’d be best to contact our support team to add your details to the list of affected users. 


Though, if you’re referring to other forms, I’d still recommend reaching out to our support team to report the issue. Especially if you’ve already done the steps provided by my colleague above.

  1. Click the Help icon at the top. 
  2. Select Contact us. 
  3. Enter your concern under How can we help?
  4. Click Continue.

Same problem here.  I have tried to print checks with both Chrome and Safari with no success.  Reports print fine .

Just with printing checks and I see that other people reported at about the same time this morning so figured it was a system problem. I'll be patient and hand write for now. Thanks for the reply.

I can not print as well and after calling QuickBooks they said they wouldn't help unless I PAID $199 for technical support.

I appreciate your efforts for letting us know your experiences about the issue. Currently, our engineering team is still working to fix this at the earliest time possible. If you haven't reach out to our support yet, I’d recommend doing this to add your details to the list of affected users (You can refer to the steps I’ve provided above to reach them).

I'm having the same issue.  Just waited over 50 minutes online on hold.  That's an absolutely ridiculous amount of time to wait.  I finally just disconnected.  I hope this issue is fixed quickly.

Hello!!  I am not seeing the steps to take and when I did contact the person I chatted with want to charge me $199 support fee which I thought was ludicrous since I knew it was an issue with the program.

Per the same Intuit Status page, a fix has now been implemented. :)

Hi,

 

but the issue happens also on Quickbooks windows app.  and that's after the lastest update.

I've identified some steps that may help to resolve the Print and Preview error you're still receiving. Try clearing the Window App's Cache to ensure the patch that resolved the error on Tuesday can take effect in your Online company. You'll find the instructions for doing so below:

 

Clear QBO Windows App Data/Cache

  1. Click Help on the navigation bar at the top.
  2. Select Reset App Data.
  3. Allow a moment for the process to complete, and then close the app and re-open it.

 

These steps can also be found from our detailed guide on troubleshooting the QBO Windows app here. It's my priority that you can print Vendor Checks again right away, so please keep me posted on whether or not this resolves the error.
