The "Bridge gaps with QuickBooks Capital' Pop-up offer prevents me from printing. I have to shut down QB and restart. Any suggestions?

Rest assured, I'm here to help you sort this out. First, let's perform some basic browser troubleshooting steps to see if this is a browser-related issue. Sometimes stored data in your browser for a long period of time can cause issue in the web.


Let's start by accessing your account via a private/incognito window. You may use these keyboard shortcuts in opening a private/incognito window:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Internet Explorer: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Option + P 

If the pop-up offer is not showing anymore while using a private/incognito window, then we'll need to clear your regular browser's cache. This way, it will optimize your regular browser performance. Clearing your cache from time to time can prevent unusual behavior from happening again.


If the error persists, I recommend trying another supported browser.


However, if you're still getting the pop-up adds after going through the steps above. Let's check your browser pop-up blocker if it is enabled. Here's how:


If you're using Chrome browser:

  1. Click More (three vertical dots) at the top right.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Click Advanced at the bottom.
  4. Under Privacy and security, click Content settings.
  5. Click Pop-ups and redirects.
  6. At the top turn the settings to Blocked.
  7. Restart your browser.

If you're using Mozilla browser:

  1. Click the Burger icon (three horizontal lines) at the top right.
  2. Click Option and select Privacy & Security.
  3. Under Permissions, mark Block pop-up windows.
  4. Restart your browser.

If all else fails, I recommend reaching out to our support team. They have the right tools to look into your account. From there, they can provide further information on disabling the pop-up offer.
