The following message appears repeatedly: "An update is ready to install. QuickBooks is trying to add a new helper tool." No valid user name & password stop it. Why?

Good day, @mjones1!

 

Allow me to share insights and help you install your desktop app in no time.

 

Let's clear your app's cache by going to the Help tab, choosing Reset App Data, then try to open again the application.

 

If the same things happens, I recommend uninstall and reinstalling the desktop app.

 

If you still get the same result, I suggest contacting our QuickBooks Customer Care. They can look into to this further and get this error fixed.
