The last year and a half isnt showing up in my check register.

You've got a couple of ways to check this in the register. One sure way to find out is to run the Account Quick Report for that account from the Chart of Accounts page (Select run report under Action column) and change the "Report period" to ALL DATES.

Thanks for the info.  I am a learning type person in that I play around with things until I hopefully get some resolve.  I clicked on the arrow down above the (cleared, reconciled) column in the register.  I seemed that the uncleared items were being hid.  So I clicked on the arrow again and everything showed again. Usaully something simple.  Thanks Keith
