This is a bug in El Capitan that causes QB to crash on launch if there was a form window minimized when last exited. Some users are having success deleting the QB pref files, some users have had success changing to window>workspace>manual. If you delete your pref files be prepared to re-register QB.

To delete your pref files

1. Quit QuickBooks if it is running.
2. In the finder hold down the option key and click on Go->Library
3. In the Library window that opens double click on Preferences
4. Drag ALL files of the form com.intuit.quickbooksxxxx.plist to the trash  (where xxxx is a year, like 2014)
5. Relaunch QuickBooks

I don't have any .quickbooks.plist files... only quicken ones.  But it's Quickbooks that is crashing upon opening on my mac.  Any other recommendations??  I can access QBO via a web browser, but not via the QB app.  I have deleted & re-Added the App.  Still no luck.  Suggestions?

I think it will "upgrade" an older plist to the current one on launch.  So to be safe delete the prior year's plist file, too. If you are on 2013 delete both the 2012 and 2013 plist for instance.
