It’s a free 30-day trial, @tamara19.

Have you encountered any error message or prompts?

Aside from meeting the minimum requirements to install QuickBooks successfully, you’ll have to ensure to close the window when the program asked you to register. Registering could lock you out of QuickBooks and the reason that it’ll stop working and stated the trial period has expired.

You can uninstall QuickBooks, but you’ll have to perform a clean uninstall process to avoid residual file left, then reinstall it. Here’ how:

  1. Open the Windows Start menu.
  2. Go to Control Panel.
  3. Select Programs and Features or Uninstall a Program.
  4. From the list of installed programs, select QB desktop premier edition 2020.
  5. Click Uninstall/Change and then Remove.

You can use this reference as a guide in reinstalling the program. It contains complete instructions about the process and how to activate it.
