I recently updated my OS to macOS Mojave version 10.14.2. When I click to open my QuickBooks program it says, "You can't use this version of the application "QuickBooks 2014" with this version of macOS." How can I update to a version that is compatible with my OS, and transfer my current files into the newer version of QuickBooks? Thank-you in advance for any suggestions.
Newer Apple Operating Systems dropped support for the memory management API used by QuickBooks Mac 2014. You need to upgrade to QuickBooks Mac 2019. You can download a 30 day trial of 2019 from www.qblittlesquare.com but you will have to purchase after the 30 days.
Once you have a copy of QuickBooks Mac 2019 (or trial) just launch it on your Mojave Mac and it should open the 2014 and convert it automatically.
As always, you can contact our Desktop Support for Mac if you need assistance with the upgrade. They can access your account in a secure environment ang help you with the process using their extra tools.
