Join nowHello, I have QB pro-2019 for pc but I would like to also use QB on my new MacBook. Can I somehow use my current QB license to install the Mac version of QB? Or do I have to buy a whole new QB license for the mac version?
Let me explain how it works, Seantalicante.
We're unable to use the same license for the Mac version. You'll want to purchase the QuickBooks for Mac with its license. Feel free to visit our website so you can check it out.
On the other hand, you can install the QuickBooks Desktop Windows version on your Mac computer. You can set it up in a parallel environment. I suggest reaching out to your IT guy to set it up.
Let us know if you have other concerns. We're around to help you. Take care!
You may have some 2 options. i.e utilize Parallels on your Mac, or deploy a private cloud.
Thank you for your answer. One more question though, if I have my a mac version, can I interchangeably work on QB on my mac, then also pick up where I left off when I go to my PC? I Have 2 different computers, one at work and one at home, and I'd like to be able to freely work on QB at either location. If a cloud service is needed, does QB sync up with dropbox?
Thank you in advance!
I don't recommend using any cloud storage (e.g DropBox, GDrive) to access your file. You should only utilize it for backup purpose. You may utilize your PC to host your QBD and company file(s). Then you may have 2 options to access it from your Mac on mobile:
1. Utilize a remote desktop app.

2. Deploy a private cloud, should you need to to work on multiuser mode
