We encountered an error connecting your accounts. Please try again later?

I'll make sure that you can successfully connect your bank account, carpetguy1.

Generally, when a user encounters unexpected behavior, like an error upon connecting your bank account, we can perform basic browser troubleshooting to fix the issue. It could be that  the stored cache or an outdated browser is the reason why you're having this issue.

Let's start with accessing your QuickBooks account through a private browsing window. This will help us determine if this is a browser-related issue since this mode doesn't save site data and cache files. You can press Ctrl + Shift + N for Google Chrome, Ctrl + Shift + P for Mozilla Firefox, and ⌘ + Shift + N for Safari web browser.

Once you're in, let's try to connect your bank account again. If we're able to successfully connect it, we'll have to go back to your normal browser and perform a clear cache to clean up your system. Doing this process will also improve system performance.

We can also use the other supported browsers to isolate the issue. Please check out our supported browsers below:

  • Google Chrome
  • Mozilla Firefox
  • Microsoft Edge
  • Safari 11 or newer

I've also listed the possible errors you may encounter and the steps on how to resolve it. Please follow the links to fix specific error:

Let me know how it goes in the comment section. I want to make sure that this will be taken care of. I encourage you to provide the specific error and name of your financial institution.
