Wells Fargo Integration down AGAIN!!

Anyone else having connection issues with Wells Fargo again? Call QBO "support" staff and just like last time they are of zero help. My issue started yesterday afternoon. I get no transaction when updating today. I cannot tell you how frustrating this is and how horrible Intuit is in fixing issues.

Yep! Cannot connect to Wells Fargo! Wells Fargo says it's QBO and QBO says it's Wells Fargo. After spending over an hour on the phone with QBO and two additional calls to Wells Fargo there is still no resolution, except to wait to see if they figure it out.

I’m here to share some information about the Wells Fargo transactions not updating.


The Wells Fargo bank recently joined the new bank connection process in QuickBooks Online. The program now connects to selected financial institutions using OAuth (open standard for authentication).

We’ve received ongoing issues about some users not able to see transactions downloading from Wells Fargo. Our Banking team is continuously working with your bank to come up with a solution as soon as we can.


With the new connection, rest assured that we’re actively working to avoid issues like this from happening again. Since you already called us, you must have been added to the list of affected users.


You’ll get an email notification once a fix is available. I'll also update this thread once I get a word from our Banking Team that this has been fixed.

Wells Fargo Integration down AGAIN!!

I was told the same thing back when WF and QBO failed for over 20 days. I never received an email update or any communication from Intuit, etc. I have little to no faith that I will receive any communication this time either.

Wells Fargo Integration down AGAIN!!

I got a notification a few weeks ago. I had to manually update all my transactions. things seemed fixed for a week and now my QB does not sync with Wells. For the price I pay, I would hope this would all be seamless. There are so many other services that cost so much less and If you guys can not fix this issue to make things convenient for your customers, we will be forced to go elsewhere.

Wells Fargo Integration down AGAIN!!

Going on 17 days for me. I am a bookkeeper with clients that need current information. If this is not fixed soon I will recommend to them that they change banking institutions or go to a different financial platform. We pay too much to have issues like this for more than 2 weeks without any communication or resolution!

Wells Fargo Integration down AGAIN!!

Hello everyone,


I’m here to help you with this connectivity issue you’re experiencing with Wells Fargo Bank.

 

Let’s start by running manual update on your bank account to refresh the connection between your bank and QuickBooks Online. I’d be glad to walk you through how:

  1. From the left menu, select Banking.
  2. Select Update at the top right.
  3. Click Continue Update.

In the meantime, we can manually bring in transactions using WebConnect. Let me show you how:

  1. Login to your bank website.
  2. Select the date range of transactions you want.
  3. Select an approved file type to convert transaction data to.
  4. Save the transaction file to your computer.
  5. Login to QuickBooks Online.
  6. Go the Banking tab.
  7. Choose Upload.
  8. Under Browse and select your transaction file.
