Can't backup my Quickbooks and keep getting message "System Error 1117".
What does this mean and how do I get backup completed?
I'm getting the same error message. No resolution that I can find. If this post goes through an "approval" process, how about trying to resolve the error!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Where is support I've paid for not a bulletin board? Geez

First, make sure that the Windows firewall isn’t blocking Intuit Data Protect (IDP). You'll need to check your firewall to make sure important files are allowed so IDP can have access to it:
Next, add IDP to your Trusted Sites:
If it’s still not working, let's ensure that IBuEngHost.exe isn’t running as a Windows user. This needs to run as a System user for IDP to work properly:
