When I open my QB program I have a gap at the top of the monitor. It prevents the pages from being full screen. For instance, I cannot see the "save and close" at the bottom of the "Receive payment".

When I open my QB program I have a gap at the top of the monitor. It prevents the pages from being full screen. For instance, I cannot see the "save and close" at the bottom of the "Receive payment".

I can share some troubleshooting steps that will help you able to see the entire page of QBSE, gaslitesquare1.

 

We can try to zoom out the page by holding down the Ctrl key on your keyboard and the minus (-) key repeatedly. You can  move the wheel of your mouse downward while holding the Ctrl key.

 

QuickBooks also requires these settings to ensure that all pages displayed properly:

  • Screen resolution set to 1024x768 or higher
  • Dots-per-inch (DPI) set to Normal or 100%

I've listed the steps below in checking these settings in your device.

 

For Windows OS:

  1. Right-click any blank spot on the desktop then choose Screen Resolution.
  2. Check if the screen resolution is set to 1024x768 or higher.
  3. Select Make text and other items larger or smaller and then check if the DPI is set to Smaller - 100%.

For Mac OS:

  1. On the upper left, select the Apple menu then choose System Preferences.
  2. Select Displays then make sure that the screen resolution is set to 1024x768 or higher.

If the issue still persists, let's access your QuickBooks account through a private browsing window to check if it's is a browser-related issue. This mode doesn't save site data and cache files. You can press Ctrl + Shift + N for Google Chrome, Ctrl + Shift + P for Mozilla Firefox, and ⌘ + Shift + N for Safari web browser.

 

If the page looks good, we'll have to go back to your normal browser and perform a clear cache to clean up your system and enhance your browsing experience. We also use other supported browsers to isolate the issue.
