Where is the settings button?

I'd be happy to direct you to where you can find the Gear button, @tongren108

QuickBooks Online makes an update to the selected account. The Gear icon was moved to a different place. You can able to see at the top right-hand corner of the page beside the Notification bell

I've attached a screenshot for your reference:

If you still can't see the Gear icon, try using the incognito/private browser as in this mode, your browser doesn't involve saving cookies and browsing history.

You can use these corresponding hotkeys for your browser:

Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N
Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl + Shift + P
Internet Explorer: press Ctrl + Shift + P
    Safari: press Command + Shift + N

If the Gear icon button appears when using incognito or private browser,  clear your browser's cache and cookies as it could get corrupted and could cause issues running QuickBooks.

To learn more about this workflow and other aspects of the update, I recommend this article: What’s new in QBO: October 2019.

Where is the settings button?

Welcome, @morenobros0103

Thanks for joining this thread about the settings icon within QuickBooks Online. As my colleague @Michelle_b said, the best recommendation for this issue is to clear your browser's history. This will allow QuickBooks to load as a fresh new page to remove any glitches that may be standing in the way of you getting back to business.

Are you using Internet Explorer? If so, I suggest using a different browser. QuickBooks Online promotes Google Chrome as the go-to browser for logging into your account.

You can also check out our tutorial page to help you navigate through your account.

Let me know if this information helps. I want to make sure that you're able to have the full functionality of the product. Bye for now!
