Add, view, or update price lists

Learn how to add, view, and update your price lists in QuickBooks Commerce.

In QuickBooks Commerce, you can create multiple price lists for different situations. For example, you can have price lists based on customers, foreign currencies, and retail outlets. By default, QuickBooks Commerce gives you wholesale, retail, and buy price lists, but you can create and edit your own price lists to better fit your needs.

Add a price list

  1. Go to the Inventory menu, then select Price Lists
  2. Select Create New Price List
  3. Complete the price list details. For the type, select Sell for sales transactions and Buy for purchase order creation.
  4. Select Create Price List.
  5. To add prices to the list:
    • Select Proceed to Add Prices via CSV if you want to use a CSV file.
    • Select Cancel if you want to add prices manually.

Once you’re done, you can assign the price list to customers, consumers, or vendors.

View a price list

  1. Go to the Inventory menu, then select Price Lists
  2. Select the price list you want to check.

When you open a price list, QuickBooks shows the variants that use the prices on the list. You can select a variant to view and edit its details.

You can also filter the variants so you can easily find the one you want to view.

  1. Select the Filter Products ▼ dropdown.
  2. From the Properties ▼ dropdown, select a property.
  3. From the Property field ▼ dropdown, select how you want to filter the variant.
  4. To add another property filter, select + Add Another Property.
  5. Select Done once you’re all good.

  2. Select the checkboxes of the variants you want to delete.
  3. From the Bulk Actions ▼ dropdown, select Remove from Price List.
