When i try to print my 1099 nec forms. The vendor address is double spaced on form? how can i make it single spaced so the whole address shows through the window envelope?

1099 2021 is not printing correctly or lining up

Let's make sure the 1099-NEC form is printing correctly through a window envelope, bco5.

QuickBooks has a time-saving feature to help you prepare your 1099s from the info you already have in your accounts. You'll want to change the contractor's type from the personal detail section on their profile, so you can print the form perfectly, To do this, follow the steps below:

  1. Click on Payroll at the left pane and choose Contractors.
  2. Select your contractor's name.
  3. Choose Personal details.
  4. Tap on the pencil icon to start editing it.
  5. Enter the DBA name.
  6. Click on Save

Once done, double-check if the form's setup is correct. Then, you can print by following the steps below:

  1. Prepare your 1099s in QuickBooks.
  2. When complete, choose the Print and mail option.
  3. Check if the forms align properly by selecting Print sample on blank paper. If it doesn't look good, close the page and proceed to step 4. If it looks good, select Print then Print again.
  4. If the alignment is not correct, choose No, it doesn't line up.
  5. Align the form using the Horizontal and Vertical fields. Once done, choose Print another sample on blank paper.
  6. Choose Print, then Print again.
