1099 mapping

I have a Mac OS Mojave Version 10.14.02 with QB 2016 version. In the past I have been able to go into "Preference" "1099" to map account, today I can't, it takes me to the threshold window. Any suggestions

1099 mapping

Hi there, Zumba.

I'm here to lend a hand with mapping accounts in QuickBooks Desktop for Mac.

You can follow these steps:

  1. Click the File menu at the top,
  2. Choose Print Forms.
  3. Select 1099s/1096.
  4. Follow the 1099 Wizard.
  5. Click the Get Started button.
  6. Select your 1099 vendors and click Next.
  7. Map your accounts and edit thresholds if needed.

For more insights on how to map your accounts, I'm adding the article I recommend on this (scroll down to Print 1099 forms):

Set up and print 1099s (Mac).

Please keep in touch with me here should you need any further help. The Community will be on a look out for your response.

1099 mapping

The solution I received was a good one, but I mapped my accounts straight from the "Settings" window/1099s.

I appreciate the feed back, this gives me another option on how to go about mapping accounts.

Thanks
