I have read posts about changing our chart of accounts in QB2019 Desktop to accommodate 1099NEC. I do not understand how this solves anything....the boxes on the 1099MISC and 1099NEC do not line up. We print and mail our forms. We do not efile.
Please explain how to accomplish this. We do not use your payroll service and we do not E-file.
You need to follow the steps in the article above if you file both a 1099-MISC and a 1099-NEC. It's determined by which types of boxes you select when you create your 1099s.
