4-step verification

This is ridiculous.  I downloaded Authenticator per Intuit's advice and am happy to use that OR receive a text with a code but waiting for an email while trying to sign in is ludicrous.  How do I get around this???  Every bank I deal with is happy to text me a code BUT NOT INTUIT???  What the hell?  My browser is cleared every time I log off for security reasons, but I suspect Intuit doesn't really understand security.  Can anyone help?  Password, email, Authenticator and Captcha.  FOUR steps to log in!

Thank you for reaching out to the Community. The Multi-factor is a security enhancement on top of the usual password requirement. You can receive the security code via your email or through your mobile device. 


Also, Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) is an authentication method that requires the user to provide two or more verification factors to gain access to a resource such as an application, online account, or a VPN.

Hi Ailene-

Thank you for your response but I am still trying to turn OFF the EMAIL verification step in this process but retain the text message verification.  Neither of those articles is telling me how to accomplish this.  This was not an issue with my desktop version of QB and is now quite irritating.
