9999 error code

Let me provide you a few information about the 9999 error code, maxbulwa.

Error 9999 is a script error that blocks the internet connection of your bank and QuickBooks Online. When this happens, the system hangs, or responds slowly, or stops working. You'll want to manually download transactions, then upload them in QuickBooks. To do this you can follow the steps below.

  1. Sign in to your bank or credit card's website.
  2. Follow your bank's instructions for how to download CSV files of your transactions to your computer. Every financial institution has different steps.
  3. Check the date range for the download. It should be at least one day before the date of your oldest transaction.
  4. Download your transactions. Save the file somewhere you can easily find it, like your computer's desktop.

To upload them in QuickBooks Online:

  1. In QuickBooks Online, go to the Banking menu or Transactions menu. Then select the Banking tab.
  2. Select the blue tile for the account you want to upload the transactions into.
  3. Select the Link account ▼ dropdown and then Upload from file.
  4. Select Browse and then select the file you downloaded from your bank. Then select Next.
  5. In the QuickBooks account ▼ dropdown, select the account you want to upload the transactions into. Then select Next.
  6. Follow the onscreen steps to match the columns on the file with the correct fields in QuickBooks. Then select Next.
  7. Select the transactions you would like to import. Then select Next.
  8. Select Yes.
  9. When you're ready, select Let's go.
