You can complete an Intuit account set up once you've done creating it from the company file and payroll. It's an additional feature to store and secure your data in case of a natural hazard such as fire and earthquakes.
Also, you can use this account to build a new company file. You only need one account for every Intuit activity from QuickBooks Desktop and other Intui products.
