Activation of Quickbooks Pro 2016 Desktop

I purchased a license for Quickbooks Pro 2016 Desktop on eBay.  I had no problem with the registration, but when I try to activate the software, I get a message to call for a code to be entered.  When I call support, I'm asked the phone number or e-mail address associated with the account; of course, I don't know either of these.  Will I be able to activate this software?  And if so, please advise how.

Right now, QB 2019 has been out for Months. You bought a Used Program, and it reaches end of life in May 2019.


You cannot buy a used QB license. They sold something to you that you cannot use and was worth $0. See if you can dispute the charge, by how you paid for it.
