Join nowNeed Help please. I was able to create and print my State and Federal Tax forms and mail them out. There was an error on one that requires me to change it and submit it back. When I try to open the saved tax form it gives me an Adobe PDF Document error message that says " There is a problem with Adobe Acrobat / Reader. If it is running please exit and try again. (10:10).
I used Task manager to close any application that belongs to Adobe - No luck
I ran a repair installation of my Adobe software - No Luck
I ran the Quickbooks Hub Tool to help me troubleshoot my "Adobe Printing issue" - No Luck
I tried to open the document straight from the folder it is saved under outside of Quickbooks and Adobe says it can not be opened because the file is damaged....
Please help.
Thanks
Thanks for sharing the details of your concern in the QuickBooks Community, @Phoenix08.
I'll share with you another troubleshooting steps that can fix the Adobe PDF Document Error.
Most printing problems in QuickBooks can be resolved by updating Adobe Reader/Acrobat to the latest version, re-installing, or by repairing your Adobe installation.
Since repairing the software doesn't resolve the issue, let's update it to its latest release. This way, you can create and print your State and Federal Tax forms. Simply check the Adobe website for detailed instructions.
If updating the Adobe Reader doesn't fix the problem, it may be necessary to uninstall and reinstall it. Here's how to uninstall:
To reinstall Acrobat Professional, use the DVD or the installation download you received from Adobe. Or else, visit https://get.adobe.com/reader/ to reinstall.
Once done, log back in to your QuickBooks Desktop company, then try to print.
If you're still having printing problems after completing the recommended steps, check out Troubleshooting printing in Windows for further help.

Thank you for the very detailed information. For now I found a work around from another Quickbooks Pro and was able to get my Tax form to print by starting a new one and then chosing the option to "continue with my saved draft". All good now. Thanks
