Advance inventory picklist-available inventory

When sending an order for pick we are entering in the locations and lot numbers.  However the inventory still shows available to assign to pick for another order.  It is our understanding that there is no "pending hold" feature or some way the system puts a hold on inventory.  Inventory shows available until invoiced even if it is staged on dock ready to go.  Is there a setting we can set to put that inventory on pending ship or something so that we have true inventory accuracy?

Advance inventory picklist-available inventory

Hello there, @lupander1.

I'm here to share some information about the sQuickBooks Enterprise Advance Inventory Management feature. Let's get started!

When sending an order for pick, here are the available "Status" you can choose from:

  • All Status: Lists all sales orders.
  • Open: Sales Orders that do not have a picklist.
  • Sent for Pick: Sales orders with an open picklist.
  • Partially Picked: Sales orders that were partially picked, but the picklist has been closed.
  • Picked: Sales orders that have been fully picked and the picklist has been closed.
  • Not Picked: I believe that this would be an order that is marked as closed with every detail line marked with zero picked.

On the other hand, here are the available "Fulfillable" options you have in the system:

  • Fulfillable: This essentially says “no filter applied.” I found the terminology a bit confusing.
  • No: There aren’t any detail lines where you have enough items available to pick.
  • Partial: Some line items can be picked, some cannot.
  • Yes: All items are available for picking.

Currently, the ability to set a status on Pending hold or Pending Ship is not yet available. I can see how beneficial it is for you and your business for having this feature. I suggest leaving feedback, which is sent to the Product Development team for consideration in the future updates.
