QuickBooks Online lets you customize invoice email templates, Barefeet. We can check if the word returned was unintentionally included in your email template or default subject line.
Here's how to verify this in your settings:
- Head to the Gear icon, then select Account and Settings.
- Go to the Sales tab, then scroll down to the Messages section.
- Check the email subject line, and if you see the word returned remove or customize it.
- Hit Save, then Done.
Afterward, let's check your invoice template by following these steps:
- Go to the Gear icon, then select Custom Form Styles.
- Look for your default or created invoice template, then click Edit.
- Select Emails, then review the Subject area.
- If you see the word returned remove or customize it.
- Once confirmed, hit Done.
If you've verified that there is no mention of the word returned in your email templates or settings, but outgoing emails still include it, I recommend contacting our live support team. They can further check this unusual behavior and provide a resolution.
