Welcome to the QuickBooks Community forum, @candkescort2014. Let's ensure that the Products and services in the invoice transaction are correctly set up. I'll guide you through the necessary steps to make sure everything functions smoothly.
- Open your QuickBooks Self-employed account.
- On the invoice transaction page, click the three dots on the right side of the Product and Services section.
- Select Edit saved item.
- Confirm that you've chosen the correct Amount type and entered the appropriate Amount.
- Once you're finished, click Save.

After following the instructions above and still experiencing issues with autofill, we can take some basic troubleshooting steps to resolve the unusual behaviour. This will help identify if it’s a browser-related issue.
Please log in to your QBSE account using a private or incognito window and attempt to make the change again.
Here are the keyboard shortcuts for opening a private or incognito window:
- Safari: Command + Shift + N
- Mozilla Firefox: CTRL + Shift + P
- Google Chrome: CTRL + Shift + N
- Microsoft Edge: CTRL + Shift + N
If this works, go back to your regular browser and clear its cache. You can also use another supported browser as an alternative. Also, please note that the articles I shared are applicable in QBSE.
If you need help managing sales taxes in QBSE for the products and services you sell, you can refer to this article: Manually track sales tax in QuickBooks Self-Employed.
I'd be glad hearing updates from you after following the suggestions. Please feel free to reach out if you have any further questions or need additional clarification. We are here to help every step of the way.
