Join nowI ran payroll for the first time on 10/28/22. A Saturday. Direct deposit scheduled for Monday 10/31. Received confirmation via email. I am an LLC Member/Owner S Corp drawing my first paycheck. My son is co-owner and also planned on a direct deposit. It's just the two of us. Contacted Quickbooks 11/1 after seeing it hadn't processed. They had placed a hold on the account.
It has been a nightmare dealing with this company. The worst customer service I have ever experienced. I will be seeking reimbursement of all fees incurred as a result of the company's actions.
I'll be switching to Gusto at a much lower rate and higher customer service rating.
Hello there, @Here4.
I can understand how you feel about the hold on your direct deposits. I wished you didn't experience this kind of inconvenience.
There are some reasons behind the direct deposit hold. These are proprietary to Intuit Payments Inc. (IPI) and Intuit. It may be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to:
All these are written and can be found in section 5.4.3. outlined in the Terms of service. IPI also reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to review and reject any Payment. If a Payment is cleared after review, we will provide notice to you.
To trace your direct deposit or to get its status, I'd recommend contacting our QuickBooks Online Payroll team. They can pull up your information securely and provide you with all the information you need.

Please know that I'm always around to listen and help in any way I can. Take care!
Try again. There is no section 5.4.3 in your Terms of Service.
