Bank Connectivity message: Connection complete and ready to use. Your latest transactions will show up shortly! But main screen gives code 103.

This is day three. QBO unable to download transactions even though message says latest transactions will show up shortly. Anyone having this issue? Customer Service is aware, but no timeline to fix given.

When you receive error message 103, it usually means the user ID or password may have been entered incorrectly by accident. There are just a few steps to take to get this resolved:

  • Confirm your sign-in info is correct

  • Turn on third-party access if your bank requires it

  • Enter your bank sign-in info in QuickBooks

Utilize the trial version of MT Online to isolate the issue. It is designed to import into any bank or credit card in QuickBooks Online, so there is no specific setting needed. If the same error persists, there is an ongoing problem at your bank or connection.

I called the support number.  Was told files are corrupted and was quoted a subscription price of $4,995 - $7,995 to fix issue.  I said no thank you.  Went back into the system and disconnected the accounts.  Went back in and activated the bank accounts and everything worked.  Very disappointing to be "pitched"  for having corrupted files as the tech put it.
