Join nowI called support and they showed me how to enter batch transactions. Those are great, but I'm needing to enter multiple Sales Receipts. I am not finding a way to enter them. When I called support again, they referred me to a 3rd party app which is an old DOS type program that does not map easily. Does anyone have any suggestions? Or do we know why QB doesn't have batch Sales Receipts??
Hi there, @sburns.
Glad to have you back here in the Community. I'm here to share some insights about entering sales receipts in batch into QuickBooks Desktop.
If the sales receipts are deposited already, you can still enter it in batch transactions and select deposit as the transaction type. However, if you wanted to have it recorded on QuickBooks as sales receipts, then this option isn't available. To learn more about entering batch transaction, please check out this article: Enter transactions by batch in QuickBooks Desktop.
I'd also encourage sharing this idea to our developers by sending us feedback. Doing this helps them determine the features that needs to be added for future updates. This can also help us assess how we can better serve you in running your business.
In order for them to account your suggestions, please follow these steps on your QuickBooks Desktop account:

This is a huge issue. We have a stripe account that integrates with QB but the integration dumps the data into journal entries. It doesn't have the customer name and as everyone knows, QB is not set up to use journal entries to record sales. It will throw your reports off. If there were a way to use batch transactions for sales journals, the problem would be solved. Please HELP!!!
Hello, dkncpa.
Let me share some information about using the batch transaction for sales journal.
Intuit QuickBooks will provide support if your data has been successfully integrated with QuickBooks. All third-party application (non-intuit) will no longer have access to their software. You can reach out to your third-party application for the detailed steps on how you can use the batch transactions for sales journals using their application.
