Can I have someone log in remotely (invite them) to QB DESKTOP?!

Hello there, NameUser. Yes, you can allow someone to access QuickBooks Desktop remotely, similar to how it works with QuickBooks Online. I can think of two ways to achieve this, depending on whether the person is accessing from a remote location or within the same network.

If the person is far away and not part of your local network, you can use Intuit-authorized hosting providers to host your QuickBooks Desktop. These services enable secure, remote access to your QuickBooks files anytime and anywhere, offering flexibility similar to QuickBooks Online.

On the other hand, if the user is within the same network, you can set up a host or server computer to allow multi-user access. This involves mapping the host computer as a network drive, enabling multi-user mode on the computers needing access, and sharing the folder where your QuickBooks company file is stored.

Both options allow QuickBooks Desktop to function in remote or shared environments, giving you the tools to collaborate effectively.

Let me know if you'd like more details or assistance on setting this up.
