Buy nowData (.qbb files) are on a drive from an older (2009) version of QB. Does anyone have experience importing these into the online version?
Can you use Online Tool to convert your data to QB Online?

Hello weskare,
Thank you for reaching out to the QuickBooks Community.
QuickBooks back up file (.qbb) from QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) cannot be directly imported into QuickBooks Online (QBO). To transfer your data, you'll need to first restore the .qbb file in QBDT supported version and then migrate the data to QBO, as also mentioned by @SIAB. Here are the steps:
Once the back up file is restored in QBDT, you can now export the data to QBO. Please follow the steps below:
After the migration is complete, review your QBO accounts to ensure all data was imported correctly.
Additionally, you may opt to use a third-party application that supports this process directly.
If you have more queries about transferring your data to QBO, kindly post them below. We're here to help.
