I understand the importance of getting back to your work quickly, Joyfulnoise52. Please start by ensuring your vehicle information is fully set up as your primary vehicle. The app will not allow you to enter mileage if it doesn't recognize it.
If you have confirmed that your vehicle is set up correctly and it is still greyed out, try doing a quick data refresh to see if it was just a glitch. You can follow the steps below, depending on your device.
If the issue persists, I suggest manually tracking your business miles using a web browser. Navigate to the Miles section, then click Add Trip. Fill out your mileage details and select Save.
After you manually type in your total business miles for the year, it will sync back to your mobile app so you can finish your taxes.
