Can I Only Convert Recent Year's Data from QBD to QBO?

Can I limit the time frame for transactions converted from QBD to QBO? Our Company file goes back to 2006 and we really just need the last 2-3 years in QBO.  Some of the older transactions were not entered or cleared out correctly and we'd like to (almost) start from scratch.  Yes, our targets are well under the 350,000 limit.

Hello there, TheRAsberyGroup.

QuickBooks Online is unable to limit the time frame when you convert from QuickBooks Desktop. I will let our development team know that you'd like the limit time frame feature.

As a workaround, you'll want to create a Journal Entry for those 2-3 years transactions. This is to manually record those transactions under one account. You'll want to reach out to your accountant to guide you on what accounts you'll be using. Recording those transactions on a single Journal Entry will affect either an Expense, Assets, A/R, A/P accounts, and many more.
