Can I please speak to an actual person to help me with an error on moving my Quickbooks 2012 to Quickbooks online?
When I try to move the information over it gives me an error message to contact you at 1-800 number but it refers me to this online chat. I need to speak to a customer service representative. Is that possible?
Currently, we have an ongoing investigation about the "Error while fetching migration data from JSON file" error message when importing from Quickbooks Desktop (QBDT) for Mac to QuickBooks Online (QBO). You'll need to make sure that you're using a supported version when converting a company file. You can install the trial license of QuickBooks 2020. This way, you'll be able to export your data to QBO from the trial version.
Once done, follow these steps:
Open your company file using the trial version.
Go to Company and select Export Company File to QuickBooks Online.
Select Start your export.
Sign in as an admin to your QuickBooks Online company.
Once done, I'd recommend running the Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet reports to ensure that you transferred your data correctly. To verify your reports in both products, filter the date period to All Dates and the accounting method to Accrual.
