Buy nowI have the QB enterprise accountant 15.0 application to edit my company. I need to switch computers and cannot find the original retail box and info so I am having to purchase the QB desktop premier 2022. Will I be able to open the QB data file from the other version of QB and use it with my desktop premier? I want to confirm before buying that. Thanks, Mimi
Hi there, mimitlam.
Thank you for reaching out to the Community. Let's make sure first that your computer meets the system requirements your software needs. Once you're done verifying, it would be best to back up your QBDT company file. This way, we can make sure that you can restore your data file in case you run into trouble.
Then let's begin downloading and installing your QuickBooks 2022 in other computer.
To install and use QBDT on your second computer. Here's how:

You cannot open QB Desktop files created on Enterprise on Pro/Premier. You have to purchase a 3rd party downgrade service prior to doing so. We can share the trial license for QBD 2021 Pro edition to make sure. You can also still purchase QBD 2021 with the one time license from a few partners if required.
Pro and Premier won't open an Enterprise file, even an older one.
However, you can have your data converted and then you can open it in Premier. See BRC Enterprise to Pro/Premier Conversion Service
