Can the packing slip format be changed to include the SKU?

Being able to customize the packing slip format and include additional information is a great feature and suggestion, Jim.

Currently, the option to edit or add SKU details directly to packing slips is unavailable. That said, I recommend submitting this suggestion to our development team, as they may review it and consider adding this valuable functionality to future updates.

To send one, follow the steps below:

1. Open your QuickBooks account.
2. Go to the Gear icon, then select Feedback.
3. Type or write your suggestions.
4. Once done, click the Next button.

While this feature isn't available at the moment, we can add it manually to the Description field under the Products & Services section. To do so, here's how:

1. On your QuickBooks account, head to the Gear icon.
2. On the Lists column, select Products and services.
3. Find the items that have SKU and click Edit.
4. In the Product/Service information window, copy the details from the SKU field and paste them into the Description box. Make sure to separate the SKU by enclosing it in parentheses.
5. Once done, click Save and close.

After completing these steps, the item's SKU will be displayed in the Description column when you print the packing slip.
