We've got some details to share about retrieving deleted journal entries in QuickBooks Online (QBO), Tok.
If you are referring to deleted customized or memorized journal entry reports, then the option to restore them is unavailable in QBO. We need to run a new Journal report for you to customize and memorize. Here's how:
- Go to Reports and search Journal Report.
- Click the Customize button and go to the Filter section.
- Select Journal Entry in the Transaction Type.
- Click Run report.
- After you customize a report, select Save customization.
- Give your report a name.
- Press Save.

If you need to restore a deleted journal entry transaction, we can use the Audit Log to recover the details and re-enter them. Here's how to locate and re-enter deleted journal entries:
- Go to the Gear icon on the top menu.
- Choose Audit Log.
- From the Filter dropdown menu, select the appropriate user, date, and event(s).
- Click Apply.
- Locate the deleted transaction.
- Under the History column, tap View.
- All the information needed for the transaction can be found under the Event column.
- Using the information from the Audit log, re-enter the transaction with its original transaction date.
