Hello, Jasmynelyons. For your security, we cannot close the account on our end. Since your account contains sensitive financial information, we want to ensure that you are the only person authorized to make this final change.
When you cancel, you will have read-only access to your information for one year. After that, the system will delete all your data. If you use QuickBooks Online Advanced, it’s a good idea to download any reports you need before the year ends.
To cancel your subscription through your QBO account:
- Log in to your QBO account as the Primary admin.
- Go to the Gear icon and click Subscriptions and Billing.
- In the QuickBooks section, click the Cancel button.
- Follow the onscreen steps to finish.
