Can you help me find a 2018 W-2. I can see 2017 and 2019 but not 2018. What happened?

I'm here to make sure you can access your 2018 W-2 form, @leaping-bounds.

It could be that you manually filed or haven't saved a copy of your form which is why it isn't showing in your QuickBooks Online(QBO) account. If so, you can contact our QBO Support team so they can archive the form for you. I'll guide you how:

1. Go to the Help (?) menu at the top-right part, and then click Contact Us at the bottom.
2. Enter your question or issue in the search box like "Access 2018 W-2", and then choose Let's Talk once ready.
3. Select either the Start a chat or Get a call option.
4. Input all the needed info and then click Submit or Confirm my call to proceed.

However, if you've electronically filed your W-2, we can access it in your archived forms. Here's how:

1. Go to the Taxes menu, and then select Payroll Tax.
2. Pick View Archived Forms in the Quarterly Forms or Annual Forms section.
3. Choose the 2018 W-2 form, and then click View.
4. You can also print it so you have a hard copy of your form.

Feel free to pull up some of the payroll reports available in QBO to take a snapshot of your payrolls. Below are some examples:

1. Employees Details report gives you a snapshot of each employee, including pay rate, deductions, and tax withholding.
2. Payroll Details report shows the paychecks you've created, including the amount, taxes, and deductions.
3. Payroll tax Payments report shows payroll tax payments you’ve made.

Then, you can customize them to personalize their details and formats.
