Cannot Generate Statement

Hello All

We've been using Quickbooks Desktop for years and sporadically have an issue with generating statements to email customers.  When we attempt to create a statement for a customer with an open balance, and correct dates entered as a parameter, it give us the "Nothing to print.  No outstanding invoices" error.   After our last upgrade, it was working fine but now has reverted back to the same issue.

I did try Googling the answer to this and where it seems like people had similar issues, I didn't see any resolved.

There are a couple of steps we need to perform to fix the "Nothing to print. No outstanding invoices" error you're getting while accessing estimates. Let's work hand in hand!

Before we proceed, please create a backup copy of your file to avoid any data loss.

  1. Let's start with updating your QuickBooks to the latest release.
  2. Download and run the QuickBooks Print and PDF Repair Tool on your computer.
  3. Access and create a statement for a customer once again.
  4. If the issue persists, follow more steps detailed in the Fix QuickBooks Desktop install errors article. The QB Install Diagnostic tool is designed to identify and fix issues with .NET Framework, MSXML, and C++ issues.
  5. Perform the Verify and Rebuild Data to ensure there are no problems with your data.

This should help get you on the right track in creating statements in QuickBooks.
