Cannot open company file

This event just happened for some reason.  When I go to open company I now have to go to my back file to open the company.  Prior to this my company info was always available without using the backup.  What happened?

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Downloads & Updates page and choose your country.
  2. Select your product.
  3. Choose the version of your QuickBooks and click on Search.
  4. Click on the Get the latest updates link.

That'll do it. You shouldn't have any further issues with opening your company file.
