i dont use gmail and i cant send quickbooks emails now

Same situation here. 

 

Keep trying to contact Support via chat. It says someone will be with me in 5 minutes, but have been hanging on for over 30 minutes.

 

With the amount of invoices we send monthly, downloading them and then sending as PDFs is time consuming. Additionally, it does not allow the customers to pay online this way unless we send them the direct link to their online invoice.

You can email your invoices, sales receipts, estimates, statements, or reports from QuickBooks using other email domains. I can guide you on how to do it.

  1. Create the transaction or generate the report you want to send.
  2. Make sure the selected customer has an email address.
    • If not, you can enter their email in the Customer Email field.
  3. You can also attach a file to your sales transaction.
  4. Hover your mouse to the Attachments field.
  5. Double-click the file you’d like to attach.
    • After the file is uploaded, select the Attach to email checkbox.
  6. Click Save and send.

This doesn't answer my situation.

 

The ability to email invoices as they created is not working. No error messages being received. It appears as thought the invoice has been sent when in actuality it is not being emailed. I always have myself copied on invoices, I am not receiving the emails either.

 

This just began malfunctioning last week. Still not working today.

This isn’t what I want for you to experience when sending transactions. The issue about unable to email invoices in QBO is already reported to our engineers. They’re all hands on deck working towards finding a permanent solution.


While there isn’t any workaround available, we need to make sure you can sign up to the list of affected users. This allows you to receive email updates about the investigation. The process requires collecting sensitive data. For security reasons, it’d be best to get in touch with our QBO Care for further assistance.


Here’s how:  

 

  1. Go to the Help icon at the top to display the QB Assistant window.
  2. Press the Talk to a human menu to enter the issue/topic.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.
  4. From the option, choose Message an agent for real-time assistance or Get a callback.
  5. Provide this information for easy tracking: INV-49395.

Still waiting for someone to contact me.  We have a business to run and are unable to email invoices or estimates.  Looks like many QB Clients are having the same problem and for several days... ours is going on about a week or so.

I can provide initial troubleshooting steps for resolving being unable to send from QuickBooks Online (QBO). I'll outline the steps below. 

 

First, I suggest reviewing the recipient's email address and ensuring it's in the correct format (i.e., firstname.lastname@example.com). 

 

After this, access your QBO account through your browser's incognito mode, as this could be a temporary browser-related problem. Here's how: 

 

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Shift + Command + N

 

Once done, see if you can send from QBO. For this, send one test sample to your email. When this works, proceed to clear your browser's cache which will help the program run optimally. Additionally, you can use other devices and supported browsers to ensure everything works as expected.

 

To provide better assistance, may I kindly inquire if you encountered an error message when sending from QBO? It would also greatly help if you could add a screenshot of the issue.
