Categorization

Hello,

I'm not sure how to categorized the expense below, hoping i can get some help.

 

1.) Subscription for business tool

2.) Membership for business tips, trick, etc, DIY HOW to.

3.)  Business Supplies like Printing Paper, Ink, Shipping Boxes, Labels, Mailers, Tape

4.)  Business Tool (One Time Purchase)

5.)  Business Addon For Tools ^

6.) Shipping Postage we paid to ship to customers

7.) Shipping Postage we paid for vendor to ship to us

Categorization

1. subscription expense, create the expense account under Other expenses
2. same as above
3. office supplies expense
4. tools expense
5. same as above
6. shipping expense, create the expense account under Other expenses
7. inbound shipping is part of the cost of what ever you paid for, as is sales taxes or anyother fees to get it

Categorization

Wouldn't Shipping supplies ( boxes, bubble mailers, etc) be a COS Cost of Sales if they're being used to send your product to the consumer? VS being an Office supplies expense? Just curious, trying to sort that out in my  books.
