We have a couple of iPad running Go Payment and each iPad has a Card reader connected by bluetooth to it.
On one of the iPad, when using GoPayment we have a message saying that the Reader needs an update. When we select the option to update, it start downloading the data, but every time it stop after reaching between 3 and 13%, and it says Updated Failed.
I can share some steps you can try to successfully update your reader. First, disconnect the reader from your iPad. Follow the steps below:
On the app, click More, then select Hardware.
Select Card Readers, then choose the card reader you want to disconnect.
From the Readers Actions drop-down, press Forget Reader.
Next, reboot the card reader by pressing and holding the power button on the side of the device until its green. You can take out the device from its dock before you press the power button. Once done, do the update again and see if it works this time.
