We need to ask for more details regarding the change name field section and the downloading process, Mlbaker4.
Could you please specify which field name you are trying to change and what data you are attempting to download? Additionally, could you describe what happens when you try to download the Excel file, including any error messages you encounter?
You can't change the names of built-in fields in QuickBooks Online before you export your data. However, once you export a report to Excel, you can easily manually rename the column headers to whatever you need.
If you want more control over the data before you export it, try creating a custom report. This feature lets you select exactly which fields you want to include, so you don't have to deal with extra columns you don't need.
If you're using an Excel template for importing or exporting and the fields aren't mapping correctly, make sure your template matches QuickBooks’ required format. The best way to do this is to download a sample template directly from QuickBooks and then copy your data into that file. Also, check your sheet for hidden columns or formatting issues that might be causing the problem.
If you meant something else, you can reply to this thread again. We're always here to help.
